Engine hunt/worn rear mount?

Hi,ive noticed that since ive had my 2000 1.8 freelander the engine hunts a little on tickover,it runs fine when started from cold and drives fine no holding back e.t.c and only seems to do it on tickover?also ive noticed that the rear drivers side engine mount seems worn as when it hunts i can see the mount moving slightly and can feel it from inside the car,i am wondering if its just the worn mount which is causing engine to wobble which then seems like it is hunting?Is there any known probs to check as i will change the mount but would also like to get it bit smoother on tickover,im gonna fit a new clutch to it tommorrow so i will have a better look at the mount but any help would be great,cheers
