good day,

So I posted recently about a engine fire cause by a left over glow plug relay after converting to 3.5 V8 rover engine.

All wires fixed now and all lights and instruments work.
She starts on LPG fine and drives well and sounds better than ever.

She does not fire up on petrol tho, I have tested almost everything but not sure if removing the glow plug relay is stopping her turning over on petrol

Thanks

If it runs fine on LPG then it isn't an ignition issue but a fuel delivery one.
EFi or carbs?
What fuel pump?
Does it run at all on petrol?

The glow plug relay on the diesel powers the lift pump when the glow lamps are lit. What fuse box are you using? The wiring for the diesel and petrol are different.

It's Efi. Had the fuel pump checked and all fine. Now will my fuel injector relay or possible burnt wire affect it turning over.

Presumably you mean switching over to petrol? Did it run on both fuels before the fire or has it never run on petrol?
By 'turning over' do you mean that it will crank and run on lpg but won't crank on petrol or that it will crank on both but not run on petrol?

My RRC is a factory fit 3.5EFi flapper & I switch from petrol to gas by a manual switch which for LPG cuts the power to the petrol injectors & turns on the LPG solenoids & vice versa for petrol. The petrol pump stays running - circulates the fuel from the tank to the engine round the fuel rail & then back to the tank - so switch back to petrol is instant.

I've no idea what needs doing to your diesel wiring to connect the EFi system other than you need the efi harness with all the bits attached & then work out how to power it up. I've occasionally toyed with changing mine to hotwire so have done a bit of online searching & these links seem fairly simple.
This might be of help as he deals with the flapper system and the later hotwire system: http://www.mez.co.uk/tuningtheroverv8-pt9-new.html
