I'm currently living in Malawi and have just purchased a very tired single-cab 110. The VIN under the bonnet and chassis match (SALLDHAD7HA901207), but the offical documentation says that the engine is a 2.5 petrol. However, the serial number for the engine is 90262889E - which suggests it is a 2.25 for a Series III? Can anyone help me with identifiying this engine as I am thinking of rebuilding the vehicle and don't want to buy the wrong engine parts?
On top of this, the Transfer Box seems to be an LT230 with the serial number: 20D126949C (just as extra info).
