Hi All,
I need some advice, regarding a 2001 1.8 petrol Freelander.
whilst driving the engine sometimes cuts out normally when slowing down or heavy turning. the engine restarts straight away and the dashboaed lights look normal oil etc. I thought it was the viscous coupling as I have read many horror stories about it, so I had it changed with a recon unit and at the same time had the car serviced.
No change! in fact the wife tells me she thinks its worse. still get that horrible clunk every now and then as well.
Any help as to what else could be causing this problem?
Thanks in advance.
