Hi need help have recently bought a freelander 2 and the passenger window opens automatically but will not close in auto it was working when I got it
Is there a simply fix please

That will depend what is required to fix the issue and ‘simple’ will depend on your engineering skills.

Just getting the door card off is a pain, unless you are patient and careful. In which case you might as well hold the button for the 3 or 4 seconds it takes to close the window.

If yer talking about the wndow not closing automatically when you pull up and release the button, then yer need to enable that function on the window. Yer do it by closing the window. Then lift the close button up for 2 seconds then let go. It will now one touch auto close.

Yes. It needs calculation. It in the owners handbook.
But basically you move the window to the position where its not going by itself. Then once it's there (top or bottom) release the switch, then operate the switch in the same direction again but holding it for 2 seconds, then release. This will calibrate that window, for that movement. Repeat for every other window that doesn't auto drive up or down.
