hi all
in my dse only the driver seat is part electric, what i want to know is, if i fit full electric seats driver and passenger from another dse would i be able to plug them straight in or do i need more wires and fuses or whatever?

thanks:)

You will need the wiring loom and outstation, you will also have to check your BECM to see if it is High line or Low line, if it's high line, it will just need the electric seat function activating.

cheers datatek.
how do i check the becm,is high or low line writen on it?not really sure what it means, lol.
i kinda hoped it would just be a straight swap as long as i got the wires from the new seats,i take it theres a connector for the wires which must be different from what i have.

Look at the top of the BECM should be a lable with H or L on it. If it's L it does not support electric seats. Mine has half electric too, wouldn't change it, less to go wrong and moving the seat by hand is quicker!
I would have to look up the detail of the wiring, it's a long time ago since I looked at doing mine.

cheers datatek,im just going to leave them as they are, nothing wrong with them anyway so why make problems for myself.

cheers

changed the seats on my 95 dse had a high line BECM so all i had to do was get the short bit of a wiring loom with the seats plugged in and perfect no activation needed as to where the loom runs from i cant remember spudH was there he knew more about the wiring than me
