hi all,

spent the last 30 mins googling and cant seem to find anything, the electric moving parts on my seat dont work and never did when i bought it. the heater works perfect in the seat and is a welcomed piece of kit in the current weather conditions. so anyone know what could be wrong or what i can check?

check that the becm under the seat is a highline becm, look through the hole where the fuses are, there will be a H or L on the label there. does your car have white stripe(coach line?)down the sides?

check all fuses, check earth strap for the seat loom. check its the correct seat loom!

all plugs beneath the seat should be occupied. check also that the seat wires havnt got caught in the runners at some point!

ok well i had a look and all fuses seem fine. though i did see 1 empty socket under the fuses so i took pics and uploaded them, is this normal?

could be where the seat harness connects, i know there are two plugs on the harness to the becm. i can remember which side they go. will look on rave. shouldnt there be a few more fuses in between the 10 and the 30 amp on the bottom row?

in rave, connector c912 is for memory seats, its not that, it looks like c907, which also goes to the seat outstations!!

take carpet up and plug it in if you can find it!

i only have the up and down of the base option, its the only electric on the seat besides the heated seats, everything else is manual. checked all the fuses and there all working. "fuse 11" was missing so i put one in and "gearbox fault" came up on the dash and said "select N" and some strange noises, so i removed it and everything is fine. electricly shes sound other than the seat.

fuse 11 should only be put in to tow the vehicle, it puts the tranfer case in neutral so as not to damage anything when bieng towed!

Did you guys have any luck with this? I've just changed my manual seats for a slightly newer manual set with what looks like the addition of a motor on the drivers side for up and down. I too have a spare socket the C907 and a spare wire coming from the seat (which doesn't fit) but I think I'm missing something, plus have no buttons so got no idea if I connected it how it would go up and down ...

Thanks
