In line with installing my aux tank I have one of these to transfer fuel to the main (side) tank from the (rear) aux tank.

It says to "mount close to" the fuel being drawn and pref "below" the liquid level.
I was hoping to install this on the seatbox of the 90 where the original side tank is as i dont think its very waterproof. However it will have to draw fuel from the very rear of the vehicle to the side tank (approx 1.5m of hose). Do you think this pump can cope with this? I dont want to mount it near the rear TD5 tank as its likely to get submerged from time to time, however if i get problems i may have to re-consider.
What do you experienced folk think?
