evening all,2000 d2 v8 es auto lpg,ok whilst changing the front bumper today for a unbroken one I found a loose plug/connector by/infront of lower radiator(white/round/2 pin)its not the outside temp sensor as that's there & connected but noticed there is no electric cooling/ac fan fitted  is this correct ? aircon is ice cold inc the rear roof mounted air con ,also bumper came with genuine l/r soft foam bullbar & l/r centre/grill spotlights which to be fair looks ok when fitted imo, but is there somewhere the grill spotlights plug into loom as there was on the d2 it came off ?thanks in advance

There should be a fan there!
It's in addition to the viscous if coolant gets to a certain temp (more likely with v8 too as they run hotter) the BCU can request it to assist and cool it down.

Also if over 27 degrees Celsius... Below 30mph I think it will come on to cool AC condenser (only if AC is on!)

I would get one fitted sooner rather than later if I were you bud ;)

thought so cant recall on any l/r ive owned with a/c not having electric fan/s;)

The electric fans DO seize up,so maybe previous owner removed for that very reason. i seem to recall a thread somewhere on them somewhere!? Genuine ones are pricey, look for a aftermarket one u can make fit in the space provided or good used one ;)
