just nipped to see my daughter and grand kids who’ve just got back from hols, took a short cut a country lane with no footpaths and bordered by large hawthorn hedges, plenty of room for two vehicles, two transit vans etc to pass with ease.
Drives round gentle bend to be met with a flipping dosey bint in an Ejoke who clearly thinks she’s driving a 7.5tonner cause she wanted her side of the road plus half my side meaning I had to put mine skirting the hedges
Spent rest of morning and half afternoon trying to polish out the scratch marks, thankfully all but a couple have come out, baby’s back in garage now wrapped back in cotton wool.
    Arrrghhhh :mad::mad:
Rant over, back to my calm and collected smiley self, all be it her indoors would argue that point :D:D:)

I was in the 110 this morning on the jaunt to work, went past the Pirbright Primary School toward the Pirbright Bends onto Mytchett and Farnborough etc.....

There was a Fiat 500 double parked letting their kid out to school, I went round to pass and a dosey bint in her red Ejoke that had been parked in front of the Fiat just pulled out without looking straight in front of me.....my Ninja like reflexes applied the anchors and (as the 110 doesn't have ABS etc) slid to a stop with my hand firmly on the horn button (it has an air horn which is really rather quite loud).....

All I got in recompense was a two fingered salute from the sour faced old cow!

Ejoke drivers need to realise they are driving a fake-ar$ed heaps of carp and shouldn't act like they are worthy of the name Range Rover - only true Range Rover drivers can act like ar$es as we drive the real thing :D:D:D:D:D

Hi Gary, yeah mostly, just a couple of light scratches that wouldn’t come out with a light buffing, daren’t rub too hard as don’t want to dull the lacquer, used some coloured polish to help hide em. Had a dash cam but it’s naffed so gonna have to get a newun, man did she get a round of f**ks, suppose it’s a good job she couldn’t hear

I would have been the same, taken me years to get a decent landy and also would have done my nut

Been looking at some of the black vue cams, will run it off my aux battery so doesn’t flatten my main battery , can have the option to run it when parked up , just got to try and find a place to put a small fuse box

    Nice. Dixie ones?!

I did wonder about fitting a truck one with a switch so I could go back to stock if required.

That sort of driving is very prevalent on todays roads, it is certainly is not only Ejoke owners who do it.

Ant that the truth , there’s always some that simply don’t have any patients or basic road manners , also prepared to put themselves and others in harms way by there selfish actions

Think motorway driving has got worse , mainly lack of lane discipline

With you on that Gary. Driving standards have gone seriously down hill since i first started. The requirement to have an ten inch spike in the middle of the steering wheel may make them think a bit, because most don't do now. On most roads around here it's like wacky bloody races.

Indeed, spot on mate , also M25 is another wacky race track

Personally think with so many distractions within the vehicle it’s something else that’s allowed driving standards to drop

how many times do we still see people on mobile phones, another one I’ve noticed is roundabout discipline, Christ can’t they follow the lines as they drive round , aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh, inc getting cut up, if u sound ur horn ur normally guaranteed a torrent of abuse

Now a days I let them get on with it, another reason I’m going to buy a dash cam , undecided if it’s worth getting a rear view pointed camera

Driving standards have dropped and I think this coincides with the massive reduction in and in some areas the total disbandment of Traffic depts.
When I worked in our Traffic & Motorway division central government funded 1 traffic car for every 25miles of motorway separately from other Police funding but that was withdrawn about 2000-2003 so individual forces reduced their traffic depts from then on diverting the money to other areas, some forces even disbanded their traffic divisions altogether hence the reason why you hardly ever see a motorway cop

Oh f*ck aye. See em coming a mile off and hang back, don't get involved if you can help it. My missus bladders the horn and flips the finger. I go mad at her, don't know what nutcases are about and I'm hardly ever with her in her car. Just sit back, enjoy the fireworks and provide a running commentary :D
