EDC Help Please

Hi All,

I am having a problem with my 300tdi EDC where when I try and start her up, as soon as she fires it dies. The only way to get the engine to run on its own is to keep turning it on the starter motor and add throttle. Once its running its absolutely great. I have changed the stop solenoid but this hasn't sorted it, any ideas would be greatly appreciated. The oil, fuel and battery are all good. Could it be a timing issue? I had the belts done a few months back.

I'm not familiar with your engine but could it be that you need to bleed your fuel system? If it was a timing issue, it wouldn't run properly once started.

Thanks Col, its only suddenly started so I'm not sure bleeding the fuel system would do anything. I have recently put a new fuel filter on though?
