my 200tdi defender 90 keeps smashing props to bits , its just breaking the uj's. i have a 6" lift on the rear and 4" on the front running 35/14.5/15 tires on 10"x15" modular wheels :D, i have castor correction arms coming tomorrow will these along with wide angle props sort the problem? thanks in advance, brad

hardly surprising. I think you should balance out the lift for a start.

Double cardon prop in the front and wide angle on the rear would be a good start, take it from there.

I think Daft is typing :D

Wide angle just allows the yoke to move more allowing a greater angle where a double cardon has an extra joint (UJ) to help with greater angles. these are generally used on the front for lifts of 2" or more. You can get away with a wide yoke for a 2" though. I would assume you need something more substantial on the front of yours.

you can go double cardon on the rear, but It may be overkill. Speak to the guys at the propshaft clinic and see what they recommend. Alot if the comp guys go through them from custom spec stuff and they will have the best knowledge to help you with your specific requirments.
