Hi
I had another go at solving my EAS problems with my RSW lead, this time I didn't have comm's problems.
Everything seems ok faults showed ....FR signal......cleared fault.
Tried my car but no suspension rise.....and compressor not running
So plugged lead again and went into Functions which enables me to switch the pump on.....and it worked.
I also went into Calibrate and tried to raise the vehicle to standard height......this didn't happen.
One thing maybe worth mentioning is my car is sat on a slope and also dips at a different angle at the front right wheel.....would this be a factor......shall move it to a flatter surface.
Thanks for all repiles

Hi
I have downloaded some instruction to check compressor tomorrow.
The compressor did run in the Functions setting with my RSW lead tho, would I be by-passing the thermal switch with this function?

Sounds like your pump runs fine but you got no air so reckon do a pressure test on pump as per Wammers how to

Hi
I may have made a mistake in a previous post.......the compressor might have been running when engine was running, I thought i would have heard it running.
Anyway today results from using Wammer's instruction
1 Compressor ran using leads on the terminals
2 Put meter on terminals and have continuity. I also double checked by exposing orange wire to earth and it didn't run.
3 Unplugged large white terminals block, a little green cleaned pins.

After all this started car and felt the compressor and it is running

So with me still having all four lights on the dashboard and 35 max displayed.....decided to connect my RSW lead again to have another go at reading and clearing faults........but now no comms, should have comms on 8 or 6 depending which USB socket i use (so no idle...... getting PP in RX)
Help Thanks
Colin

Check the OBD socket, both sides, for corrosion,

Hi
Well I'm at a dead end car starts and compressor is running, but until I can get the comm's to work, checked comm's port (Device Manger) clicked on link C340 then clicked on details on the next window its stated here ' The device is working properly'
I'm now checking my lead doing continuity test on the pins.....how many wires does the lead pickup from the socket.
Cheers
Colin
