Hi I have a 97 4.6 HSE p38 and the eas compressor only sometimes kicks in when it should. I have stripped it and replaced the piston seal about 6 months ago. The suction from the inlet filter is pretty poor so I have had a look at the brushes on the motor and one has a big chunk missing so I dont think it is making very good contact. Can anyone tell me where to get new brushes from and how to repalce them? Would appreciate some help with this one, cheers!

If you know the sizes you could try searching Anglo Carbon web site. Or contacting them and asking the question. Think it is highly likely they are OEM manufactures of these brushes. Anglo Carbon

cheers wammers, tried them they said I needed to send one of the brushes in for them to compare. So when I had a closer look the commutator was shafted, really worn down with burns and scores on it so I am gonna have to get a new compressor!! Cheers for the help though.
