Any kind soul have a PROPER drop arm puller they could lend me or pop round with to get mine off my 94 Disco?
I need to replace the dust seal before too much Kack gets in and kills the steering box.

Tried a two arm articulated puller with G cramp across the feet to stop them splaying - they splayed and the arm stayed put.

Thanks.

There didn't seem to be enough room to hit the arm with a puller in place.
I've done the two hammers on ball joint tapers before INSTEAD of using a puller, is that what you mean?

best with both use a large drift and lump hammer if access is difficult ,its held on a slow taper hitting stretches it slightly as well as the shock, ive just done a p38 one took over an hour
