drop arm help

hi all just been trying to do the oil seals in my disco stearing box the ones on the drop arm end . after 4 hrs and 1 broken puller gave up trying to remove the drop arm any one got any ideas on how to remove this from the spline any help would be great thanks,

You need a bigger puller a hydraulic one will work. Anyway the replacement output shaft seals won't last very long, could be there's wear on the shaft thats the reason for the fluid leak.

thanks try again as ive got the seals may as well try knakerd the drive with oil with that and the gear box leak need to do somthing. get a bigger puller tomorrow thanks.

Been there and done that in my RRC days has to hire a puller but two months later it stated to drip six months later I booked it in for a service exchange unit to be fitted.

Undo the nut and drive around somewhere safe til the drop arm loosens.

Cut it off with a 1mm disc on the grinder, then stick a new one on
