Guys

The part arrived after 3 days, been sitting on the side for a week or so, been to busy to have any time to my self.

Anyway I finally decided that todays the day that it needed fixing... start to finish just under the hour.

And who said putting in to Land Rover would be cheap...lol

Yes it was the window regulator, the half moon dics with teeth that is spot welded had snapped... crap design...

Anyway does anyone know the size of the interior screws.... Im missing 3 out of the 5..lol and not its not me that lost them, werent there in the first place

I just replaced the regulators on the drivers window, and the rear right window also. 10 minute job for each. :D

The drivers window was struggling for a couple of months, then the other night that dreaded 'bang' noise happened...same deal as what happened to you. The rear window on the same side had been stuffed since I bought the rig, so I dodged it up into a fixed-closed position to get me by. Once the drivers window failed, I decided to get new regs and fix it properly.

Personally I think electric windows are ****, but had to have them with the vehicle. Now they're fixed, I'm amazed I put up with them being stuffed for so long! Who would have thought opening a window was so good! Hahaha!

Both front windows on my TD5 need doing, i've got the new regs, just cant be bothered at the moment!!! I hate those little blue, plastic screws that hold the door card on!!!!
