Random problem just started tonight, press unlock and you hear the mechanism but button does not pop up and you can't get in, alarm is disarmed, have to use the key to get the button to pop up and actually get in drivers door

Any ideas?! Have tried all the resynch techniques etc

wip yer door lining off and ave a look at the linkages inside. if they're all attached, give it a good dose of WD40, then try agin.

i actually have the same problem, yet it was working up until changing over the window regulator, i refuse to believe its coincedence but i wont rule it out just yet, i have it off and will be researching more tomorrow, stripping the mechanism from the door and operating it in hand it's as though it lacks some sort of spring assistance but i'll know more soon

Cheers guys, will see what luck you have queerlander!! I haven't got time to do it at mo, only noticed it after cleaning it in the dark!! Wife is due to give birth any day so could do without it really.

Can't quite understand how key works it and remote doesn't as linkage will be same i would have thought?

Make sure you post up your findings and I will do same if I get a chance to strip the door

Have the same problem, button coming out only halfway, especially when it gets a little colder to very colder, but pushing twice (opening all doors) also opens my driver's door and gets the button pop out completely. I understand it's a problem of the solenoïde of the lock ?

great i now have mine working after trying keyhole surgery and silicone oil, however i would note that the actual unit has 2 solenoids and only 1 was working. the other was partialy working yet weak. i have photos to upload and i will do this tomoro to show what i've done.
the actual remedy was to remove a spring from the mechanism! this actually gave me satisfactry operation
i am going to remove the lock again to add an aditional tension spring to another part of the mechanism
again i'll follow this up
it cost me nothing to do so i had nothing to lose
stay tuned
