Doors didn't fall orft

Bleedin friggin gaylander was off road today had a quick job to do and a load more in the afternoon ,anyhows saw smoke coming from the front and it smelt all leccy and low un behold alternator light comes on, now like a prat i switches off engine to inspect and bang things with my hammer [that how you fix land rovers int it] and yep alternator goosed [im a rockit enginear so know bout these things ]so i thought best drive back and sort it. . . . .click friggin click no phone stuck in the middle of no mans land ,so after a 4 mile hike got an earth freind to jump start and managed to get it back with a trickle of juice in the battery. . . .so tonight have orderd on flea blag a new altinator and 2x aux belts , gunna have to wait for arrival , gunna have to do the job outside an i bet its ****ing down or snowing might clean ma black leffer fing tomorro gunna have a red eye. . . . .PARP!!!!!who did thet ?

Havent you got strings attached to zoom you about? Flash had strings on his Rockit

You did prove that the doors don't fall off!! God knows why the alternator is mounted where is gets dunked while wading??

I've wondered that, although Freelaner's is mounted at the top and the A/C compressor is low down on our 1.8s, I've thought about moving my alt up with brackets off an early one with A/C, not sure if you could do that with a V6 though...

No need to move the V6 alternator as it mounted at the top of the engine in the V!! If you manage to drown it, a ruined alternator would be minor compared to the damage done to the engine taking a drink!!
