doors and disco`s

what is it with jaming doors on disco?only 1 out of the 5 opens from outside.have to go in rear to open front

Wee tiny springs in the locking mechanism or handles need adjusted.

Put the key in to unlock the door after using the central locking and then a good snatch on the handle should see it open

But Unfortunately it's time to do that horrible job of changing the door lock springs. £5 for a set of 5 on eBay, not a nice job though. I have 3 to do on my 97 disco 1 and am waiting till the warmer days to do them!!

Here's the guide on how to change them the one on the rear door is the worst in my opinion.

spent some time in the snow today striping the door down....got frooze wet and annoyed.put it all back together.opens now and then rather
than not at all before.

Playing with door locks on a day like today

should have got a broomstick handle wiv a screw in hook at one end,
open any door you can,
use magic door opening stick to enter gracefully after by hooking hook in door handle and pulling.
