I have a 300TDi and the drivers door seems to have dropped slightly. It opens and closes but there is a definite drop - usually when opening. This is a new thing and the hinges look good but maybe the pins are shot? Any fix or is it a new door & hinge required?

New hinge required, try and get genuine if you can as some after market ones have more slop in them than your old ones 
Failing that just adjust the door striker pin with a big allen key and move it down as it will be the rubbing on this that gives the lifting and dropping of the door
