I live in Canada and I own a 2004 Freelander. Recently I had to change the right-rear door regulator. The cable of the regulator was all torned. I was told it was normal after 6 years and half. I have less than 95000 Km. Now and I afraid the same thing will happen to the 3 other door. Does anybody had the same problem ? I have try to send a picture of the regulator but I don't see it. Sorry !
p.s.: I hope you can understand me, I am French speaking and i don,t write very often in English.

Yes window regulator cables are a common failure on freelanders. There are repair kits available on ebay which allow you to change the cable. Removing the door cards and lubricating the cables might prevent corrosion and extend the life of the others.
