Door problem

Ok so I can lock the car fine on the remote but when using the remote to open the drivers door will not budge.

I'm not sure if it's related but I until today I used to wiggle the key to open the driver door but now it won't turn at all to open and I find myself climbing across from the passenger side.

Can anyone help?

replace the door latch assy... simple as that
