door lock onp38 ???????????

Hi all , i hope that some one can help me as you had in the past.
new year's day i had the car in to the garage to have the becm sorted as it would not start, all sorted now.
The thing is that my o/sf and n/s/f doors wont lock or open on the fob but the drivers door will open and lock on the key, and the n/s/f only if i use the button on the door,if i push the button's on the door's i can hear clunking on the rear door's , i have replaced the outstations in both of the doors.
any clues

Im sure one of you great guy's will be able to sort this out for me.

mate this forum is **** for help ive had this sort of problem where my car will look from the door all cl locks but on opening it just opens the drivers door and does not disable the alarm

Mine has developed an identical fault I was going to ask the same question.

just a minute, this forum is not ****, its above a beyond the most entertaining forum i am a member of!!!


we don't sit here waiting to answer calls from some underdeveloped neanderthal who cannot research an issue to come up with a question.

and to define ****, look at your car history!!!



to the OP the answer to the issue is:

1, re sync the key

2, input eka code

3, strip locks and investigate issue starting with drivers lock and working to passenger so on and so forth. at the end of each strip down/ rebuild check the operation.

your other option is to book it into the dealers for them to sort out or live with it!

ive done all this and more but im to the point that ive nearly striped the cars loom
 
why its the door locks or door outstation(s)

it will be the locks, almost definately.

if you find someone with rovacom either a forum member close by or a garage, they can run each door lock from the computer. this will tell you where the issue lies!

it may cost you 40 quid or so for the privelage but its cheaper than ****ing the loom up.

tell me what exactly did you do when you stripped the drivers door lock out?

ok this is what i did i replaced the latch for another then also changed the out station wen the car is unlocked the cars int lights come on but the C/L doesnt unlock
 
P.S i am willing to pay and supply beer on demand if some one can help get this beast up and running again as i need it to ferry my disabled mother about now i wish i didnt scrap the astra
 
p38dse gav you are going to need a new fob you also need to get your eka code, i had same problem with mine when i first got it, as been said it will need to be pluged in ofr reset, or you just be wasting your time.....
