Donnington to Wakefield (or near) THIS WEEKEND

my mate has let me down big style and can't help me as planned. I've just bought a roof tent off a bloke from Wales (Cartmarthen ish) but he's in Donnington this weekend for the Great Land Rover Show. I am without my own trusty Landy as it is at work and I'm over a hundred miles away at home.

Is there anyone at the show who can possibly bring it north on return? It's 1.4x1.4x0.3 metres.
Beer tokens will be provided to the legend that helps me out.
It's this or I'm going to have an emotional time in one of my parents/missus' cars.

I'm there but I'm not sure it will fit in a vw fox with my dog and my luggage for the journey north. I'll measure up tomorrow morning. Driving back up the m1 to Whitby on Sunday afternoon.

I'm going to the show, but not in the Landy so I'll check in the morning if it'll fit in the missus' Xtrail.

Sorry, not a chance! We don't have a roofrack and there's no way to get it inside. Technically it would fit inside, but without cutting it in half it wouldn't get through any doors!

Don't worry. It definitely won't fit a fox! We tried my missus' polo, my dads X1, mums Jazz, nothing! It's a Landy job this.

Hopefully, if the guy who is buying his roof rack doesn't collect it this weekend the seller is going to drop it off for me in Yorkshire on his way back up to Wales. Fingers crossed.

The bloke brought it to me on his way up to Glasgow thankfully! Now in possession of said tent
