Do full body fastener kits come with labels?

Generally, do full body fastener kits come with labels? like in seperate packets for different parts, I don't fancy a great big box of nuts and bolts that I have to sift through to find the correct ones.

I bought a box of nuts, bolts and washers from an online supplier and got loads for about £40, enough to put most of my S3 bodywork on. Stainless too.

There are far too many bits on mine that require specific bolts, at most I seem to have only 16 the same for the prop shafts, gear lever to bellhousing- 2 small bolts, gear lever to gearbox- 2 bolts, primary pinion cover plate- 3 of one 4 of another, screws for the tunnel and floor, to name but a few, Although the cheapest I've found so far is 300, it will save a lot of work, unless someone here has a list of part numbers for all the fixings required?

just actually Got a kit from LR Fastners. There not cheap, but it's already saving me hours.. And I mean hours. In response to the original question, the kit I got from LR Fastners was completely labelled - literally every little bag was labelled within a larger bag - ie a large bag for example to say fit the dash moutings, steering box etc, would then have individual sets of nuts and bolts for each specific task - e.g bulkhead bolts, fuel tank bolts. Each bag is labelled with both the description of the contents of bag (eg handbrake bracket ) and with part numbers.

All the nuts and bolts used in the production of the series 3 are detailed in the parts number book for series 3 - a must buy for anybody restoring one.

I do not regret getting a kit at all, it is alot of money that won't really add value to the car but it is a lovely feeling when you go to put something back on and you just find the right little bag of fastners and it all goes on with no hassle. So yea, if you can scrape enough money to get one - do!

Superb, exactly what I wanted to hear, I'm just tired of sheared, rusted, ground of nuts and bolts and with the amount of work that constantly needs to be done on a Landy I thought it would be a worthwhile investment, especially when it comes to doing things in the future, even if it will cost more than the beast did in the first place. Do you know if there is an imperial or metric conversion available for it all as well, I'm also tired of whitworth, I can't see how the sizes relate to any real life measurement, it must be to do with algebra.

Wouldn't have thought a full 'body' fastener kit would come with much Whitworth ... from what I understand most Whitworth bolts on a landy are where any big stuff (axles, engines, gearboxes) are leftovers/same production as the earlier Series 1 equivalents.

On a Whitworth spanner ... fyi ... a 1/2" Whitworth spanner fits a Whitworth bolt with a shank/thread diameter of 1/2" .. etc etc.

I see, but that is still an annoying way to do things, I'd much prefer to be able to use one tool box.
