I have searched and read various threads but have not yet found the answer so maybe you can all help.
My rear side windows leak which it appears most do, I have changed the felt which stopped them rattling and then I took them out and ran silicon around and refitted but they still leak....
So to my questions, do they all leak ? and if so is it worth buying new ones from someone like Paddocks or Masai or will they leak also.
Has anyone fitted Masai's single pain windows and if so any good?
I know Land Rovers leak but I need to keep the back dry as I need to keep the things in the back dry.

Mine don't leak, it did a little when i got it but some silicon sorted that out. Water leaks aren't easy to trace, but a little perseverance and you'll be fine

Is it the side windows you are asking about or the rear windows if side windows and are genuine LR ones or after market ones they normally have drain holes / slots in them but if they are the older type that you fit your self using the rubber bead that goes round the centre of the seal then yes they do tend to leak but some don't, hope this helps :)

also, is it the glass thats leaking, mine leaks, but it leaks ROUND the frame, so job for the summer is to whip em out, sikaflex and put em back in again :)

Its the side windows and they both seem to leak from the middle somewhere but I can't see where. The vertical rubber between the two pains looks in good condition and the slots are clear.
Any ideas?

Mine are not in the best nick, felts full of **** and the sliding seals are a bit iffy but luckily zero rattling and not a drop of water comes in. Even during this crazy ass rain.

Out of interest anyone know where to get the solid non slideing windows? I was considering replacing with them. They just look a tad nicer.

Maybe I need to fill mine up with muck and moss!

As for fixed windows I've only found two options so far and the Masai ones look good but cost £240 per pair.

The second is a DIY option which reads well if you can get your hands on toughened glass locally to you.

I would love to hear from anyone who has fitted the Masai ones to hear if they are worth the money.

Hope this helps

Slightly off topic but when I bought the 90 the p.o. told us that the flip up sunroof leaks slightly and after we brought it home found out the seal was full of bits of twiggs / leaves probably from when its been used for green laning so plan to sort that when the weather gets better :)
