Ok, I've got a leak and I want to do a pressure test myself.
I've got a bicycle pump and a length of garden hose...:)

Seriously, though, is there a reasonable way to perform a rudimentary pressure test at home without recourse to a specialist compressor and/or other specialist tools?

Cheers!

can't see why not, i use to check my 300zx intake the same way, just don't use too high a pressure. i used an electric tyre pump for that

I'm glad it wasn't a totally dim question.

Any suggestions where I stick it?
- attach the pressurising hose that is - :)

Do I need to block up the overflow somehow?

Any other gotchas?

Cheers
