Dislocation Cones

yo,

im going to be completing my 2" lift on my 90 this weekend hopefully and as i have done it on the cheap (2" spacers) i was wondering how much i need dislocation cones.

i didnt really think about it from the off but i have found some el' cheapo's on e-blag and am now considering a purchase and fit situation.

i hear about springs popping out whilst offroad, but is this more likely with a lift kit in place? and will i have to take my 90 to the "EXTREME" to pop a spring?

i dont want to be out and about pop a spring and get stuck in the middle of nowhere!

at £65 for front and rear will it be a worthwhile buy? maybe so just for peace of mind!

im sure i could make a em for next to nothing. couple of hrs with the welder and a drill. some old pipe etc..

lol. NO im not competing in anything, except mountain boarding next year which doesnt involve my land rover.

so are we talking about dis cones or my lift kit here sheddy?

im going to need to join a club sometime next year to keep my insurance down (as im under 25). does this mean they wont have me if ive jacked my 90 :S so to speak?
