Are the two filler plugs plastic ? The front filler plug is proving impossible to remove so I was considering banging a screwdriver through the centre slot to try and remove it. Anybody got a better idea ?
Thanks

Don't knock a screwdriver through it, you could potentially spend bits of plastic plug into the pan and cause problems!

Chisel the round plastic flange off around the hexg shape of the plug, it's this that provides the nip up against the diff pan, releasing it should make it easily turn out with a socket and ratchet. Be sure to replace with a brass one and a new o-ring.

Brilliant thanks for the advice.

Although I've now replaced mine with the brass ones, what I did was undo it with a ring spanner but put a thick washer in the slot to stop it collapsing and assist the turning.
