Discovery Grill With 2 Badges

Hi everyone,

can anybody please enlighten me as to why my wifes Disco mk1 300Tdi has a space for two grill badges?

It has the standard Landy badge on one, but the other badge holder has no badge.

This is the first time I've come across this, so any help would be appreciated.

The corprate activities company i work with has a 110 with two badges. It was owned and by land rover as a demo vehicle in Coventry. All demo vehicles were apparently fitted with two badges, thats the story i got told might be complete nonsense.

As where quite a few special edition and end of model runs such as the Argyll spec the last of the 300tdi's

Hi all,

thanks for all of your replies to my post. I dont know much about Disco's, but I think it could possibly be one of the end runners where 300tdi's were concerned. It seems to be a base model 300, but it has extras on it, which apparently were on it from new, such as roof bars, side steps, electric mirrors & heated front windscreen.

I'm not sure if I made it clear in the post that although there is a mounting for the second badge, it doesnt actually have one.
