i like a lot of others have a Disco 4 with a knackered crank that Landrover do not want to pay for.
my argument with them is that as it is a manufacturing fault age and mileage should prevent them being responsible.
can anyone share thier views, and see if we cannot get a better response from them

I certainly feel your pain, but if you search around here and other forums you will find that LR are certainly blanking this as their fault.

If you push them you may get some sort of good will gesture but dont hold out for "free", or cheap.

Cheap scrapper engine then get rid would be my advise:eek:.

How old is your d4?
Fsh etc etc?

As post #4 - Cheapo replacement engine and move it on :mad::mad:

fsh etc, is very relevant / important..

I wish you luck with LR, but doubt you’ll get anywhere… :(
