Hi
Had the dico door fault would not open handle kept sticking i have sorted that out but now the alarm bleeps every time i lock it arrrrrrrr.

Put the lack back as well as i think it should be stops bleeping when i unplug it how can i fix.
im told some magnets need to line up but cannot see anything.
it has not got a lot of play on the bolts so i cannot see it being in the incorect place.
I think this is why my air suspension will not lift im not a hoppy bunny

My 1999 disco 2 non air suspension has also just intermittently stopped opening on the rear door handle after trying to unlock it on the remote and it really ****es me off .If i keep on locking and unlocking on the dash board switch it will then let me open the rear door.

Hi thanks for that i have sorted the door but on putting the lock back it keeps bleeping the alarm.
i cannot see what i have missed 3 bolts holding it in i don’t see the plastic peg like on most cars for the light and alarm but still keeps bleeping so dam mad with it

Hi
Thanks for that how do i find the switch i keep looking for the plastic push switch that works the lights but i don’t see it someone told me it is a magnet but i don’t see that very frustrating all works fine if i unplug the electric from the lock air suspension works but it don’t lock and stops bleeping

The switch is inside the actuator.....unplug the connector(C0831) pins 5 and 6 are from the switch.

mmmm not good it is the lock itself little micro switch by the look of it £68:00 for new lock don’t mind the bleep when i lock it but have to unplug the back door lock to get the air suspension working for now it don’t look like a easy way into this lock to get a better look

Update> i made a mistake in the first post .....its the other way around >> when the door is closed the switch is open(not closed) so that's why the SLS is working with the connector unplugged cos the door switch is blocked on closed position and the BCU receives an earth through it.....try to isolate somehow contacts on pins 5 and 6 from the connector(or at least one of them...pull it out from the connector) and then the only problem will be that the alarm will not work if somebody opens the tail door .....at least untill u sort it out u'll have central locking.

i erased the previous bull**** ...sorry for that
