Get under and see if the clutch arm rattles about in your hand, side play could be thrust bearing detached, inline play the old "worn through the arm" scenario.....

if it was clutch fork when you pump the pedal it will go solid and then just be solid. Did you fit the slave cylinder yourself? If so make sure the bleed screw is above the pipe (not upside down). If the bleed screw is underneath then it wont really bleed well. Good luck, ignore the idiots.

As said check slave is fitted correctly check it's been bled properly and if that fails check to see if the push rod has worn thru the fork It's possible to seperate the engine from the gearbox and slide the engine forwards enuff to get a torch & the missus's makeup mirror in to check it.

Ha ha, missus's make up mirror! So true! :D

Take the slave cylinder out again still plumbed up, press pedal and see if piston moves forward.

Then cop a feel o' that release arm.

Ooo matron.
