Discovery 2 TD5 Backlash/clunking

Hello as per the title I have got a large clunking when on/off the throttle. In the past this is usually a mount, but I have laid down under the car while someone’s stamped on the brakes and moved between 1st/Reverse. The clunking seems to be from the TC, what could it be? I had the front prop off and the rear diff has minimum backlash maybe 5degrees of rotation, while the TC has about 20/30 degrees of rotation


I’ve checked ujs they’re all solid, it’s a 99 with diff lock
