Hi Guys,

I've raised the chassis 4 inches and have found that the prop fouls on the support brace between the chassis runs.

Question is, how have others gotten around this? I have taken it off for now as the D1 doesn't have one there and they're designs aren't too dissimilar.

I thought it may have been for the under tray mounting, but it has 4 bolts on either rail for this, which seems a bit extreme if it was for the undertrays.

That is a crossmember,

I know some have removed it completely, I prefer the option of putting spacer blocks in between the chassis and the crossmember if you do decide to have a 4 inch lift.

But then I do not have a lift.

Cheers

Thanks Neily. Yeah thats what I've done (removed it) at the moment. Just thought I'd see if someone knew if there was a major issue with removing it.

It probably helps significantly with side impact protection - which maybe wasn't seen as important when the D1 was developed.
