disco2 v8 engine fit

hi looking to fit an older engine in my disco having blown the head gasket for the 2nd time.
will the 3.9 fit my car and will i able to fit all my kit injection etc to it .
or am i barking up the wrong tree and its total differnt v8.

1st ask yourself why the head gasket has gone for a second time? V8s are supposed to be bullet proof if well maintained, I read a thread once about LR using plastic dowels instead of steel ones to mate the 2 parts of the engine together, this is a common fault, they now replace em with metal ones, cant help u anymore than that sorry mate.
