Things I’ve replaced diesel air bleed valve
Fuel pressure regulator and seals around that part
Fuel filter
It was pumping 3.5 bar before I changed fuel regulator now it’s pumping 3 bar but the battery was quite low and the disco I pulled engine out of had a good fuel pump but not sure if it’s the same

3.5bar is too low, it should be 5+... The D2 pump is a bit longer and the level sender has different setup... you can replace only the pump unit inside the casing though, this one:

I’d rather get it all but before paying for a new one I want to make sure the ignition is wired correctly

This is interesting... is it hard to fit?... just for future reference..

I must have brought a 110 pump, as the gauge was out... I managed to swop the gauge sender from my old pump to the new one, which cured the gauge problem. It was a cheap replacement part, but in fairness it has lasted over 5 years!
