If you buy a V8 with LPG on it make sure you do your homework thoroughly. Check the install, paperwork, installer, certification and the research the manufacturer.
Unless it is a recent sequential multipoint system then walk away. A good install will give no trouble, but they do tend to need the spark plugs changing more frequently.
My personal preference is underslung tanks as they are neater and do not impede on load area. I am not a fan of changing the main petrol tank for a smaller one to make way for the LPG one. One advantage of LPG is the extended range you have if needed.
Underslung tanks can take a bit longer to fill and could be an issue if you plan to go full-on off-roading.
I would have a sorted V8 LPG as opposed to my TD5 if only for that V8 roar
