Hi,
Had a nice road trip from Greece to France last week. Made it 900 miles when suddenly had some pretty nasty vibration when acclerating. Pulled off the motorway and changed down when, clunk-bang-bang the front prop snapped off the UJ at the transfer box end.
Guess its just a case of buying a new one and bolting it all in place. Problem being the guy before me changed it to a disco 2 propshaft and changed the output flange from the box end. Does that mean I can just buy a disco 2 one and it should fit into place or not. Stuck in france without much hope of explaining to a local about balancing and all that crap I could do without having to go to a local garage for help. any ideas?
Anyone know anywhere in france to order LR parts from or anywhere in UK that does cheap or free european delivery?
Also will it kill my transmission if i drive it around much? It will only move with diff lock engaged but didnt think I should use it too much so its just sat there slowly getting buried in snow.
Cheers!!
