Disco Chassis and Defender Bodywork?

Help Please

I have an off road Disco which has now seen better days, but the Chassis is great. Can I rebuild back up into a defender? If so what complications am I going to hit and will I have to Q reg it? Not sure how registration will work - if you build another vehicle do you have to use a brand new chassis?

hi bronco boom best bet is call them lot at dvla there mega helpful ive done a few reshells on cars the always steered me in the right direction as long as you dont tamper with existing chassis numbers there ok you may have to sva test it as if it were accident damaged but ive never tried making 2 logbooks into 1 go may thge force be with you!!!
