Disco 4 - faulty passenger door lock

I have a 2012 discovery 4 sdv6.

First landrover for me. And I love it.

However,

My passenger door doesn't always unlock with the rest of the doors.

Sometimes it does and others it doesn't.

If you lean in from the back seat and pull the inside door handle out half way it then unlocks the door ok and you can open it from out side then.

Any common faults with this?

Apart from the door lock, I love it.

Internal latch assy about 80/90 quid genuine, 40 quid pattern, not hard but quite a bit has to come off to gain access, I found it fiddly, but then Im ham fisted!

Plus 1 ref changing the door lock , is just fiddly

If I may say change it while the door still opens or ur be in trouble , these doors don’t just lock but deadlock

Last year my door failed whilst having a mot , they wanted 4-500 to change it as they couldn’t open it , done it all myself for £60
