Hello all,
I've just bought an '07 TDV6 pursuit, no sniggering at the back! I can't see what's so different, to me it's a GS with a bit of chrome and big wheels. I've been told there's only 300 been made as a limited edition and was wondering if anybody knows the whereabouts of the other 299.

Google (how many left) and check.
My metropolis (hse with all the extras and bling) 300 made, reckons 274 left which to me seems a very high success rate for a 11 year old car

The one and only real question with any 07 D3 is. has the oil pump been changed? if not google it and get it done asap.

hi and welcome

extras on the pursuit are indeed based on the gs

  • Ebony interior
  • 19" alloy wheels
  • Body coloured wheel arch trims
  • Manual leather seats
  • Chrome finish mirror caps

as @lynall mentioned and not trying to worry u but make sure the oil pump cover has been replaced , it is breaks they can destroy the engine and a £5k bill ,

do u know if the belts have been done, inc the back one, is 105,000 or 7 x years , which ever comes first

just looked and there's 8k left of mine on the road

there's a few of us that now own D3s so if u ever need help plse ask and always happy to help

Morning all and thanks for the replies. She's got 82K on the clock and is currently in getting all the belts and oil pump plus autobox flush, I've read quite a bit about the failure of the oil pump.

Oddly enough the mechanic (a local LR specialist) said he wouldn't bothe with the rear belt as it doesn't do much and he's never heard of them failing? He is doing the WP though and a diagnostic to get ris od stored faults etc.

the rear belt does the fuel pump, many garages steer away from doing them as they don't know how , or can't be bothered , heard some even saying the body has to come off which is rubbish , they can be changed by a skilled mechanic in under 40 x mins

good that it's all being done for peace of mind, only reason i said about the reader is it will save u a lot of money in the long run, as every time u to back to a garage will cost 60-120 :D
