Please excuse if this has been asked before, can't find a thread on it.

My disco has been standing outside for about 2 months, went to start it on Friday - flat battery. Charged him overnight and tested it batt ok.
Back in the D1 and nothing on the dash lights up....
had a scratch about and found a yellow relay in drivers footwell kick panel wasn't seated properly, this relay back to n gave me pre ignition lights on the dash.

Fuel pump primed as expected then went for a start and all I get is relays in drivers kick panel and spider chattering. Earth fault maybe?

Checked & cleaned main earth running from batt to starter - still the same

Google teched it and saw it could be the spider immobiliser, so bypassed it - still the same.

Any thoughts on this??

Thanks in advance

I do have a video of the issue, if that would help...

Have you "fully" tested the battery other than checking the voltage ?
An iffy cell or two in the battery therefor there's not enough power in it to crank the engine... maybe.

what a ****e fault, ended up being the new heavy duty isolator switch! When testing for voltage at the starter it shows 13 volts, but obviously not letting current through as it should. Nightmare. Cheers for the reply though Discool
