Got a Steve Parker conversion down pipe on me 110 and I've had to patch weld it once cos of rot. Stainless ones are available but £££££££.
Now I've got a Tig welder I fancy making a ss one after I've had a bit more practice.
Has anyone got one they no longer need? As long as it's not dust and I can still use it as a template I'm interested! Can't use mine as it's a daily driver.

Mine is standard with a small fillet cut in it to angle more.

how about wandering to the local exhaust people for some scrap to practice on?

Standard TD downpipe ?
I've only got , I dunno, 3" from turbo flange to bulkhead for clearance.
I've got the top half of a TD downpipe somewhere as I modded the Steve Parker pipe by welding the flange off the bottom end of the TD downpipe to it. The rest of the system is then stock 110 TD so easy to remove or replace instead of the Steve Parker method of cutting and sleeving the stock TD intermediate pipe which most know would rust together in short time causing grief down the line..

Sorry standard 200tdi disco down pipe. Yep it’s tight to the footwell as has lt77short bell housing on
My exhaust going backwards is disco centre box then over the rear axle(no box, made to fit by local manufacture)
Some one said you can replace the manifold with a 300 version to gain space

So you must still have the cast bit still fitted to the turbo to use the disco down pipe? Wanged that bit years ago.
I always thought that bit had to be removed because it fouled the bulkhead...

Yep still got the standard disco cast drop.
I thought that it would foul when I put it in(was a V8) no problems with the footwell.
Changed the bulkhead few years back still no problems.
Standard Lr 200tdi mounts. It’s tight & does not vibrate.

have a look at Merlin website from earlier post they have plenty of pipe pieces to make exhaust.
Iv done 300tdi from them as it’s into an 88”racer.
Normally I take to local chap who puts motors onto ramp & builds from scratch. he done my down pipe & then made me a 1 piece over axle from centre box to exit in stainless. We use dimensions from standard motors so I can replace if needed(not had to for 5years)

Interesting.
When you've got a minute can you measure the distance the cast bit protrudes from the turbo flange face?
