Hi all,

I have a 99 d2, the car has three amigos on the dash, i have checked the car with a computer and it seems to have non feed to the modulator.

i then checked the car myself with a tester and this appears the case (only 9v), i have a complete wiring diagram for the car bit the only part it doesn't show on the diagram is where the feed comes from.

Does anybody know?

All fuses and relays are fine, and the slabs is all connected and dry.

thanks in advance

Shaun

No, I only have the haynes manual and a full electrical diagram passed on from a mate.

is there `any extra info in the rave manual?

I could be massively wrong (and if so apologies for wasting your time), but I seem to remember reading something somewhere when I was fighting my Disco 2's three amigos that the voltage supplied by the ECU to the modulator isn't necessarily 12v... have you checked whether it's meant to be 9v?

PS RAVE manual is a "must" and is the equivalent of complete works of Dante compared to Spot the Dog! Usually quite easy to find on the web with a little careful searching.

hi there, have just found it and downloaded it, i can't find the feeds though, so at the moment I'm unsure.

cheers for the reply

In Rave go to

Electrical Library / Discovery Series II / Description and Operation.

You will find the ABS info in there.

Cheers

What computer? the modulator is not supposed to have feed stationary only a check voltage for the SVS, all it's internal components have common earth and the ECU gives feed to the needed part while driving when ABS/TC/EBD activity is necessary according to the protocol
