hi running in my rebuilt 4.oltr.
one thing i have noticed seems to take forever for the plastic themostat to get hot .
worried that it might not be opening, although the gauge temp is ok.
by the way how do you fill the auto box with fluid having lost some on my drive when the cooling pipe blew off.
many thanks

If thats the case then it must be a sealed unit which is filled with a pump and the correct ammount.

You would have to get a pump with the correct fittings and drain and refill with the correct ammount form the book. Thats if its the same as the zf units I have worked on.

remove the 8mm alenkey bung in the sump and with a cold engine run though the gears then remove bung and top up fluid untill it drips out then rety the gears and recheck level simple
