Hi guys a new problem my Disco 1 has a vibration at slow speed until you get into 5th gear then it's fine which makes motorways no probelm.
In town the vibration I think comes from the propshaft area but Andy White (my hero see other post) replaced the rear propshaft doughnut as it was knackered and it seemed to cure it but seems to be coming from the front.
It's not life threatening
but it annoys the hell out of me. In the old days you could ask a mechanic to jump into your car and could demonstrate the problem to him but now they stick it on a rolling road and you're not allowed to be with the patient.
They then look wise tell you it's nothing and charge you £40 exhaust repair places are the same except if it's not broken they'll break it.
Anyone got a suggestion what it might be causing my vibration.
