Hi there can any advise me if there is a way to bypass the key receiver so that I do not have to keep on Turning left then right then left again as I am worried it may damage the key lock. I am far away from anywhere to get the system repaired and will only be back in civilization in approx 6 weeks.

Thanks appreciate any advise cheers

Hi . what do you mean by that cos i'm confused... it's no such procedure for a D2 so why would you do that ?

It sounds as though he is using the EKA to unlock and disable the alarm.
If so, the answer is yes, but you will need access to a Nanocom or Hawkeye to enable "disarm with key" and disable passive immobilisation, and it sounds as though that may not be an option right now.

The only way unfortunately, is not to lock the vehicle, therefore there’s no need to re-enter the access code with the key vehicle.
U must be deep in the bush not to find someone that can plug in a diagnostic kit to find your issue, or of course isolate the security system if thats what u require.

I'm still confused cos ''EKA" doesnt mean just "left then right then left again" to me cos in my mind is more complex... though if thst's the case the answer is very simple: Unlock with the frigging fob  ...or if the problem is that it doesnt work fix it

Do not take it so literal SF....:D he is talking about the EKA code without giving his code away.

Cheers
