Front panhard rod is allegedly a different length & either axle or chassis mounting modified to suit.

The headlights at the front, quite obviously. Electrically they don't change from dip to main beam, the dipped lights are always on and the main beams are added to the output. With the different shape of the lights, there had to be design changes to the metalwork of the body behind the lights.
The rear light clusters were redesigned and repositioned slightly. The indicator lights were brought up into the cluster while the reversing lights were repositioned on the bumper clusters with the rear fog lights. The "D" posts were redesigned to accommodate the new shape of the facelift rear cluster.
The "facelift" models were also said to have uprated brakes with a larger master cylinder and different front pads and discs and suspension and a fix for the steering box and other oil leaks. The ES model had the Centre Diff Lock fitted as standard, it was an option on the other models.
The front bumper was redesigned to afford a slightly better approach angle and fitted with the round Range Rover style fog lights. The radiator grille was also redesigned to match. Another external change was the fitting of the thicker roof rails.
The seats, at least the second row seats were apparently fitted with the ISOFIX child seat anchorages as standard.
Although most facelift Disco 2s were sold with the Td5 five cylinder diesel engine, some V8s were sold, but nowhere near as many as the diesels.
Altogether there were some 175 quality issues addressed and 300 odd engineering changes.
